3. Tasks <br />n <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />N. LBJ AND OAKRIDGE UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />a. Mechanical Design: KFA will design the proposed improvements at Lift <br />Station #12 in accordance with City of San Marcos lift station design <br />standards. <br />b. Electrical Design: JRSA will perform the electric design including SCADA <br />and operational controls for the upgrade of Lift Station #12. <br />c. Modeling: KFA will update the spreadsheet model of the existing <br />wastewater line with the proposed improvements to verify sizing and <br />improvements. <br />d. Erosion /Sedimentation Control: KFA will develop erosion and <br />sedimentation control measures. SWPPP and EPIC sheets will be <br />provided within the plan set. <br />e. Traffic Control: KFA will develop traffic control sequencing for <br />construction of the improvements. <br />f. Construction Sequencing /Phasing: KFA will prepare a Construction <br />Phasing plan including a Sequence of Construction. The phasing plan <br />will be coordinated with the traffic control. <br />g. Land /Easement Acquisition: KFA will prepare License Agreement Exhibits <br />for two (2) parcels. <br />h. Permitting <br />i. TCEQ Storm Water Permit: KFA will prepare and submit a TCEQ <br />Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. <br />ii. TCEQ Chapter 217 Review: KFA will submit an Engineer's <br />Summary Letter to TCEQ describing the project and requesting <br />any variances to Chapter 217 as appropriate. KFA will provide <br />follow -up submittals and coordination with TCEQ as requested. <br />iii. TCEQ Edwards Aquifer OSCS: KFA will prepare and submit a <br />TCEQ Organized Sewage Collection System Plan. <br />Notifications: <br />i. Texas Historical Commission: CoxJMcLain will prepare a Texas <br />Antiquities Permit to be signed by the City and submit the permit <br />to Texas Historical Commission. After obtaining the permit a field <br />survey will be carried out and documented as required. It is <br />anticipated that no additional testing will be required. <br />ii. TCEQ: KFA will notify TCEQ at project milestones as required by <br />TCEQ. <br />Deliverables: KFA shall prepare construction plans suitable for public bidding to <br />include notes, plan and profile sheets, electric plans, details, environmental <br />protection, traffic control, and work and storage locations. For the purposes of <br />this proposal, plan and profile sheets are assumed to be at 1"=40' horizontal and <br />1 " =10' vertical scale on 11" x 17" plans. <br />4 K FRIES <br />'�'` + ASSOCIATES <br />
