<br /> 77 <br /> Regular Meeting June 24, 1985 Page 3 <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced a public hearing and approval of an Ordi- <br /> nance on first reading, the caption of which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br /> WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br /> OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 <br /> (VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 45, J.M. <br /> STONE ADDITION, AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF <br /> RECORDED IN VOLUME 52, PAGE 438, DEED RECORDS OF HAYS <br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, A/K/A 1012 DAILY, FROM "MF-4" (MULTI- <br /> FAMILY DISTRICT) TO "R-l"(SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DIS- <br /> TRICT) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br /> to speak in favor of the zoning request. No one wished to speak <br /> in favor of the request. Mayor Craddock asked if anyone wished to <br /> speak in opposition to the request. No one wished to speak in <br /> opposition to the request. No one wished to speak in <br /> favor of the request. Mayor Craddock asked if anyone wished to speak <br /> in opposition to the request. No one wished to speak in opposition <br /> to the request. Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerra <br /> asked the Director of Planning if the Council was supposed to have copies of <br /> the minutes of the Zoning Commission meeting at which this request <br /> was considered and stated that he did not have a copy of those minutes <br /> in his agenda packet. Other Council members stated that copies of <br /> the minutes were included in their packets. Mr. Farr and Mr. Codding- <br /> ton stated that the copies of the minutes in the Council packets are <br /> the minutes of the meeting at which the land use .amendment request was <br /> considered, but that no copies of the Zoning Commission meeting minutes at <br /> which the zoning change request was considered, were included. ~1r. Robbins stated <br /> that the Council should have received copies of the Zoning Commission <br /> meeting minutes as well as the minutes of the meeting at which the land <br /> use amendment was considered. Mr. Farr expressed his concern about <br /> the proximity of the railroad tracks to the subject property. Mr. <br /> Coddington moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading, and Mr. <br /> Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br /> on emergency, the caption of which was read as follows: <br />
