<br /> statement shall be presented to the Council <br /> within thirty (30) days after the final <br /> decision of the Zoning Commission, and not <br /> thereafter, for notification and calling of <br /> a public hearing to hear and act on the appeal. <br /> F. Administrative cost: The City Zoning Commission, <br /> with the concurrence and approval of the City Council <br /> shall determine and set forth a fee schedule <br /> for the purpose of recovering the administrative <br /> cost of processing zoning and subdivision re- <br /> quests and the public hearings called for by <br /> this article. Such fee shall be paid by the <br /> applicant and shall not be designed for restricting <br /> an applicant's ability to seek a hearing and/ <br /> or generate revenue for other than recovery of <br /> actual administrative cost incurred by the City. <br /> G. Applications for zoning change: <br /> 1. Applications for a zoning change shall <br /> be made on forms provided by the City. <br /> 2. The same zoning request shall not be con- <br /> sidered on any parcel more than once in <br /> any twelve-month period of time unless <br /> the Zoning Commission, by a three-fourths <br /> vote of members present, determines that <br /> there has been a substantial change in <br /> conditions surrounding the subject land <br /> since the prior request, and agrees to <br /> reconsider the request. <br /> 3. The staff shall review all zoning requests, <br /> and provide the Zoning Commission with <br /> their concerns and comments, and make sure <br /> that the Commission has sufficient informa- <br /> tion to make a recommendation. <br /> SECTION 24. That Section 3 of Appendix A of the Code of <br /> Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 3. Official Zoning Map. <br /> The official zonin~ map of the City of San Marcos shall <br /> be kept in the official files of the City Secretary. <br /> Certified copies shall be maintained in the office <br /> of the City Manager, the Director of Planning, the <br /> official files of the Zoning Commission, the Chief <br /> Inspector, the City Engineer and the office of the <br /> Tax Assessor-Collector. The map entitled "Zoning <br /> Map of the City of San Harcos, Texas, " shall consti- <br /> tute an official part of this ordinance as herein- <br /> after set out. The boundaries of the districts re- <br /> ferred to in this ordinance are indicated upon the <br /> zoning map of the City which is adopted with and de- <br /> clared to be a part of this chapter (appendix). All <br /> notations, references and other information shown <br /> upon said zoning map are hereby made a part of this <br /> ordinance, and shall be considered as much a part <br /> of the same as if the matters of information set forth <br /> thereby were all fully contained and described here- <br /> in. Such map shall, on the face, be identified and <br /> verified in the following manner: It shall bear the <br /> title "Zoning Map of the City of San Marcos, Texas, " <br /> and shall bear the names of the governing body, the <br /> City Manager, and the chairman of the Zoning Commission <br /> -12- <br />
