<br /> WHEREAS, said budget determined appropriations for funds
<br /> received as Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 15; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said city Council finds and determines that a public
<br /> necessity exists which requires reappropriation of the funds from
<br /> Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 15; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, after publication of notice on August 5, 1983, the
<br /> City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, held a public
<br /> hearing on August 15, 1983, on the budget proposed by the City
<br /> Manager for said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1,
<br /> 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, at said public hearing all interested persons were
<br /> given an opportunity to be heard for or against any item or the
<br /> amount of any item therein contained; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, public hearings to consider proposed uses of Revenue
<br /> Sharing Entitlement No. 15 funds were held on August 1, 1983, and
<br /> August 15, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, after said public hearings, the city Council of the
<br /> City of San Marcos, Texas, adopted the budget for said City for
<br /> the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983, and ending on September
<br /> 30, 1984, on September 12, 1983; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said budget set forth itemized estimates of the
<br /> expense of conducting the San Marcos municipal government for said
<br /> fiscal year and appropriated money for the various funds and
<br /> purposes of such estimate; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter
<br /> of the City of San Marcos, Texas, said City Council declares that
<br /> a public necessity exists, which requires amendrrlen t of said
<br /> budget; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SM~ MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That Ordinance 1980-37, adopted September 8,
<br /> 1980, which set forth an itemized estimate of the expense of
<br /> conducting each administrative unit of the municipal government of
<br /> said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1980, and
<br /> ending on September 30, 1981, and appropriated money for the
<br /> various funds and purposes of such estimate, and which
<br /> appropriated funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 12, be
<br /> amended as set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and
<br /> incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the reappropriations of Revenue Sharing
<br /> Entitlement No. 12, as shown on the said Exhibit A are hereby
<br /> approved and adoptea.
<br /> SECTION 3. That Ordinance 1981-70, adopted September 8,
<br /> 1981, which set for th an itemized estimate of the expense of
<br /> conducting each administrative unit of the municipal government of
<br /> said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1981, and
<br /> ending on September 30, 1982, and appropriated money for the
<br /> various funds and purposes of such estimate, and which
<br /> appropriated funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 13, be
<br /> amended as set forth in Exhibit B which is attached hereto and
<br /> incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
<br /> SECTION 4. That the reappropriations of Revenue Sharing
<br /> Entitlement No. 13, as shown on the said Exhibit B are hereby
<br /> approved and adopted.
<br /> SECTION 5. That Ordinance 1982-41, adopted September 7 ,
<br /> 1982, which set forth an itemized estimate of the expense of
<br /> conducting each administrative unit of the municipal governrnent of
<br /> said City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1982, and
<br /> ending on September 30, 1983, and appropriated money for the
<br /> various funds and purposes of such estimate, and which
<br /> appropriated funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 14, be
<br /> amended as set forth in Exhibit C which is attached hereto and
<br /> incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
