City Council Meeting Minutes July 1, 2014 A motion was made by Council Member Prather, seconded by Council Member Scott, that this Ordinance be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, Council Member Scott, Council Member Prather and Council Member Prewitt Against: 1 - Council Member Thomason 9. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -38, on the second of two readings, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning a 50.339 acre, more or less, tract of land out of the William Ward Survey No. 3, Abstract No. 467, for a portion of Yarrington Commons, located near the 2700 block of Post Road at the Blanco River, from "FD" Future Development District to "MF -24" Multiple - Family Residential District; and including procedural provisions. A motion was made by Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, seconded by Council Member Prather, that this Ordinance be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, Council Member Scott, Council Member Prather and Council Member Prewitt Against: 1 - Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak 10. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -39, on the second of two readings, amending the Electric Utility Line Extension Policy to require customers to pay all costs of line extensions above $1,500; amending Chapter 86, Article 4 of the San Marcos City Code to provide for the Pro Rata Reimbursement of the cost of electric line extensions to qualifying parties; providing for publication; and providing an effective date. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -94R approving the appointment of Jacqueline Cullom to the position of Assistant City Attorney, and declaring an effective date. 12. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -95R approving terms and conditions of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the City of Austin, the Austin Independent School District, the City of Georgetown, Hays County, the City of Pflugerville, the City of Round Rock, Travis County, the University of Texas and Williamson County for the Austin Regional Intelligence Center; ratifying the Police Chief's signature of this Interlocal Cooperation Agreement; approving Amendment Number One to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for the Austin Regional Intelligence Center; approving Amendment Number One to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Sustainment Funding for the Austin Regional Intelligence Center; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute both amendments; and declaring an effective date. 13.
