ATTACHMENT A <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />CRYSTAL CLEAR CCN WATER LINE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />2. Meetings <br />a. Utility Coordination Meetings: One (1) utility coordination meeting has been budgeted for <br />the Design Phase. It is assumed this meeting will be held after approval of the 30% <br />submittal. Kimley -Hom will invite all utilities that appear will be impacted by the proposed <br />water improvements. <br />b. Project Meetings: Three (3) project meetings have been budgeted for the Design Phase, <br />following each milestone submittal (60/90/100 %). <br />3. Field Investigations <br />a. Subsurface Utility Exploration: KIMLEY -HORN has retained the Wallace Group to <br />provide subsurface utility engineering (SUE) support for the project. For the purposes of <br />this proposal it has been assumed that up to six (6) locates to depths of 10 -feet will be <br />performed. <br />b. Geotechnical Investigation: KIMLEY -HORN has retained Raba - Kistner to perform <br />geotechnical borings and analyses for each of the project locations. Raba - Kistner will <br />conduct appropriate laboratory testing and summarize the field investigation results and <br />recommendations in a geotechnical report as appropriate. <br />4. Tasks <br />a. Erosion /Sedimentation Control: KIMLEY -HORN will develop erosion and sedimentation <br />control measures to be included in the plans and details. <br />b. Traffic Control: KIMLEY -HORN will provide standard traffic control details for construction <br />of the improvements. <br />c. Permitting <br />UPRR New Pipeline Crossing Permit: KIMLEY -HORN will prepare and submit <br />the required application for proposed water line crossing. <br />Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Utility Right -of -Way Permit: <br />KIMLEY -HORN anticipates preparing and submiting applications for two (2) <br />locations — McCarty Lane and Hunter Road. <br />iii. Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Storm Water Permit: <br />KIMLEY -HORN will prepare and submit a TCEQ Stormwater Pollution Prevention <br />Plan. <br />d. Notifications: <br />TCEQ: KIMLEY -HORN will notify TCEQ at project milestones as required by <br />TCEQ. <br />5. Deliverables: <br />a. Monthly Status Report: KIMLEY -HORN will provide a monthly status report, including a <br />brief summary of work completed as well as a status plan set. <br />3 <br />
