Regular Meeting June 19, 2007 Page 10 Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration adoption of a Bond Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, COMBINATION TAX AND REVENUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION, SERIES 2007B; PROVIDING FOR THE SECURITY FOR AND PAYMENT OF SAID CERTIFICATES; PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID CERTIFICATES; AWARDING THE SALE THEREOF; APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND A PURCHASE CONTRACT; AND ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT. Mr. Thomaides moved for adoption of Ordinance with amendments, and Mr. Guerrero seconded the motion. Jennifer Douglas, First Southwest Company, provided the Council with the Final Pricing Summary for all three Bonds. She reviewed the different ratings from Moody's Investors Service, and Standard & Poor's on all three Bonds. Carol Plumbo, McCall, Parkhurst & Horton L.L.P., provided the Council with the pricing index. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the Ordinance. Ms. Robertson moved for adoption of Ordinance with amendments, and Mr. Jones seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
