Leak Detection Program was initiated July 10, 1989 in <br />cooperation with the EUWD. Cost to the City consists of <br />furnishing one employee with vehicle to assist in locating water <br />mains, etc. and four sets of water maps. <br />VI. Water Reuse and Recycling <br /> A. Establish a Water Reuse policy for City operations. <br />Suggested wording for a policy statement: "the reuse of treated <br />wastewater effluent is a major means of reducing demand on the <br />aquifer. Therefore the current and potential uses for reclaimed <br />water in City owned and operated facilities will be identitifed. <br />A cost/benefit and feasibility analysis of these uses will be <br />made and desirable reuse programs implemented.
