<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />will be one ($1.00) dollar per acre or fraction thereof. Fee is <br />nonrefundable. <br /> <br />d. Such plat shall be accompanied by a vicinity sketch or map at a <br />scale adequate to view the areas surrounding the proposed subdi- <br />vision, and showing all existing subdivisions, streets, easements, <br />rights of way, parks, and public facilities in the vicinity <br />including approximate locations and sizes of utilities. The <br />vicinity sketch shall also indicte the general drainage plan and <br />the ultimate destination of the storm water. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Form and Content <br /> <br />The preliminary plat shall be drawn on vellum or mylar" sheets eighteen <br />(18) inches wide and twenty-four (24) inches long, with a binding <br />margin of not less than one and one-half (1~) inches on the left side <br />of the sheet and margins on the other three sides of not less than <br />three-fourths (3/4) inch. The plat shall be drawn to a scale of no <br />smaller than one hundred (100) feet to one (1) inch. When more than <br />one sheet is necessary to accommodate the entire area, an index sheet <br />showing the entire subdivision at an appropriate scale shall be attached <br />to the plat. The plat shall show the following: <br /> <br />a. Vicinity sketch showing the location of the subdivision in relation <br />to adjacent arterials or collectors, with sufficient information <br />to locate the subdivision in relation to the rest of San Marcos. <br /> <br />b. Names and addresses of the subdivider, record title owner, engineer, <br />and/or surveyor. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Proposed name of the subdivision, which shall not have the same <br />spelling as, or be pronounced similar to the name of any other <br />subdivision located within the City or within five (5) miles of <br />the City, unless the subdivision is contiguous to a recorded <br />subdivision and the plat represents an additional installment or <br />increment of the original subdivision. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Names of contiguous subdivisions and the owners of contiguous <br />parcels of unsubdivided land, and an indication of whether or not <br />contiguous properties are platted. <br /> <br />e. The locations of contiguous lots, blocks, streets, easements, <br />rights of way, parks and public facilities. <br /> <br />f. Primary control points or descriptions and ties to such control <br />points to which all dimensions, angles, bearings, block numbers, <br />and similar data shall be referenced. <br /> <br />g. Subdivision boundary lines, indicated by heavy lines, and the <br />computed acreage of the subdivision. <br /> <br />-16- <br />
