<br />progress of work. <br /> <br />1.2.6 Head the Project team and coordinate the integration of desIgn, surveying, right of way <br />issues, coordination of utility requirements, and other services as prevIously approved. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - ASSESSMENTS <br /> <br />The EngIneer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Assessment Technical Memoranda (TM) - Prepare technical memoranda that include: <br /> <br />a) A review of existing UV dIsinfection and re-aeration systems and their ability to <br />meet future flow demands of 31 mgd.; <br />b) An evaluation of the existing aeration basin air supply pIping system to determine <br />the best approach to fix the current leaks. As part of this evaluation, the EngIneer <br />will consIder potential solutions such as replacement of all leaking components or <br />abandonment of the eXIsting underground system and replacement with an above- <br />ground system; and <br />c) An evaluatIon of the reclaimed water pumpIng system to meet forecasted future <br />needs. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Meet WIth City staff and reVIew draft Assessment TMs. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Provide the follOWIng deliverables for this Task: <br />a) Draft Assessment TMs; and <br />b) Pinal Assessments TMs. <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The EngIneer wIll: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Provide the City with reVIew documents at the preliminary design phase, (considered <br />approXImately 50 percent complete). The Engineer will prepare design documents for the <br />elements referenced in SubsectIon 1.1.1 (a) through ( e) of this Agreement. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Establish standard details and draft specIfications. The standard details and draft <br />specifications created as part of this task will be the initial version of these documents. It is <br />expected that the EngIneer will revise/refine these documents dunng final design. <br /> <br />1.4.3 Base the standard details on the City's established standard details. If the City's standard <br />details are not available, the Engineer will propose using its standard details. The Engineer's <br />standard details will not be used without prior approval from the City. <br /> <br />1.4.4 Base the preliminary design phase on the Engineer's Master Specifications. <br /> <br />1.4.5 Prepare preliminary technIcal specifications for all major equipment items <br />Wet Weather hnprovements Project CH2M Hill <br /> <br />3 <br />
