<br />1.4.6 Consult and coordinate with the City to specify instrumentation and control requirements <br />for the pump statton and prepare a process flow diagram (PFD) and process and instrumentation <br />dIagrams (P&IDs). In addItion, the Engineer WIll prepare equipment control logic descriptions. <br /> <br />1.4.7 Consult and coordinate with the City to develop an Implementation plan for integrating <br />the upgraded process eqUIpment into the existing SCADA system. The Engineer will review and <br />verify concepts with City staff and will document the overall integration concept, requIred <br />system modificatIons, implementation activities and responsibilities, and a rough ImplementatIon <br />schedule. <br /> <br />1.4.8 Prepare an estimate of the constructIon cost based on Preliminary Design information <br />(considered 50% complete). In addItIon, the Engineer will include costs assocIated with the Task <br />2 - Assessments recommended improvements in the cost estimate as separate line items. <br /> <br />1.4.9 Conduct a one-day workshop with the CIty to review the work products. The Engineer <br />will record and assemble minutes from the workshop and the draft work products and submIt to <br />the City for reVIew. <br /> <br />1.4.10 Conduct a prelimInary design review meeting. <br /> <br />1.4.11 Provide the following deliverables for this Task. <br /> <br />a) PrelimInary design plan and section drawings; <br />b) PrelIminary design standard details; <br />c) Preliminary deSIgn draft specificatIons <br />d) PrelimInary PPD and P &IDs <br />e) Preliminary design cost estimate; <br />t) Preliminary design review workshop mInutes and work products such as <br />prelimInary specifications and plans. <br /> <br />1.5 TASK 4 - FINAL DESIGN <br /> <br />This task includes the preparation of plans, specifications for insertion into bId-ready <br />contract documents, and a construction cost estimate. The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.5.1 Assist the City in the preparation of constructIon contract documents using City forms <br />based on the approved deSIgn development documents and any further adjustments authorized by <br />the City In the scope, quality or budget of the Project. The Engineer will use its best professional <br />judgment to create technical documents that comply with applicable construction and <br />development codes, local regulations and ordInances and other federal and state regulations <br />which are known or whIch should reasonably be known to the Engineer. <br /> <br />1.5.2 Prepare detaIled plans/construction drawings for the Project to include general drawings; <br />plan and section drawings; specIal and standard proJect details~ site plans~ structural, mechanical, <br />Wet Weather Improvements Project - CH2M Hill <br /> <br />4 <br />
