Hopkins Street — Preliminary Engineering Attachment A January 22, 2015 (4) Prepare and publish meeting/hearing handouts /packets and presentations. (a) Includes preparation of project packet materials, maps, cross sections, any PowerPoint presentations (if chosen), and sets of poster presentation sized materials for meeting. (b) Includes providing draft materials in digital format to the City for posting on their website. (5) It is assumed that the City will secure location(s) for public meetings and the City Public Information Officer will prepare and send out mailing notices /invite for meetings - use available city resources /mailing lists. B. Prepare for and attend pre- meeting with City staff. (1) Meet in person with city staff at least one week prior to both public meetings and council meeting to discuss the preferred presentation process, go over mockups of presentation materials and schedule agenda. 7. Landscape Architecture and Street Scape A. Develop streetscape concept documents based on public input (1) Meet with the City to review public input and select final streetscape improvements. (a) Coordinate with TxDOT to obtain concurrence on selected final streetscape improvements. (2) Prepare a streetscape plan and incorporate streetscape and pedestrian level amenities into the roadway plan view and sections as appropriate. The final streetscape concept design will include the following revised Illustrative graphics : (a) Color rendered plan view graphics to cover length of entire roadway (b) Color rendered typical section graphics (c) Color rendered perspective graphic. B. Design will be coordinated with the HDR Corridor Study through discussions with City staff. C. Deliverables: Updated schematic design documents that will be incorporated into the revised roadway schematic and to be used for the second public meeting to establish the design components for the 30% design submittal. 8. City Water and Wastewater Utility Improvements (1) Review available GIS maps and as- builts for information on utilities in and adjacent to Hopkins Street. Review water and wastewater master plans to identify utilities within and adjacent to Hopkins Street that have been prioritized for rehabilitation or replacement. Review available Sanitary Sewer Elimination Survey results in the Hopkins Street area to determine condition of wastewater utilities. (2) Attend two (2) utility coordination meetings with the City to discuss replacement and rehabilitation. (3) Prepare 30% plan sheets (water) and plan and profile sheets (wastewater) and cost estimates for replacement and rehabilitation of utilities in and adjacent to Hopkins Street.
