�"����� �1 � ��/� ✓�,ti's�Wf� tyN��v"�l1Vr °i��fl�d��'i w. <br />Hopkins Street — Preliminary Engineering <br />Attachment A <br />January 22, 2015 <br />(4) Prepare and publish meeting/hearing handouts /packets and presentations. <br />(a) Includes preparation of project packet materials, maps, cross sections, any PowerPoint <br />presentations (if chosen), and sets of poster presentation sized materials for meeting. <br />(b) Includes providing draft materials in digital format to the City for posting on their <br />website. <br />(5) It is assumed that the City will secure location(s) for public meetings and the City Public <br />Information Officer will prepare and send out mailing notices /invite for meetings - use <br />available city resources /mailing lists. <br />B. Prepare for and attend pre- meeting with City staff. <br />(1) Meet in person with city staff at least one week prior to both public meetings and council <br />meeting to discuss the preferred presentation process, go over mockups of presentation <br />materials and schedule agenda. <br />7. Landscape Architecture and Street Scape <br />A. Develop streetscape concept documents based on public input <br />(1) Meet with the City to review public input and select final streetscape improvements. <br />(a) Coordinate with TxDOT to obtain concurrence on selected final streetscape <br />improvements. <br />(2) Prepare a streetscape plan and incorporate streetscape and pedestrian level amenities into <br />the roadway plan view and sections as appropriate. The final streetscape concept design <br />will include the following revised Illustrative graphics : <br />(a) Color rendered plan view graphics to cover length of entire roadway <br />(b) Color rendered typical section graphics <br />(c) Color rendered perspective graphic. <br />B. Design will be coordinated with the HDR Corridor Study through discussions with City staff. <br />C. Deliverables: Updated schematic design documents that will be incorporated into the revised <br />roadway schematic and to be used for the second public meeting to establish the design <br />components for the 30% design submittal. <br />8. City Water and Wastewater Utility Improvements <br />(1) Review available GIS maps and as- builts for information on utilities in and adjacent to <br />Hopkins Street. Review water and wastewater master plans to identify utilities within and <br />adjacent to Hopkins Street that have been prioritized for rehabilitation or replacement. <br />Review available Sanitary Sewer Elimination Survey results in the Hopkins Street area to <br />determine condition of wastewater utilities. <br />(2) Attend two (2) utility coordination meetings with the City to discuss replacement and <br />rehabilitation. <br />(3) Prepare 30% plan sheets (water) and plan and profile sheets (wastewater) and cost <br />estimates for replacement and rehabilitation of utilities in and adjacent to Hopkins Street. <br />At a minimum this will include waterline replacement on Belvin Street from Scott Street to <br />Bishop Street. <br />IOFF140411 L: \OLCR \San Marcos <br />
