She also mentioned that <br />there are some students parking walking to class, but didn't see them as a nuisance. <br />There being no further comments Mayor Guerrero closed the Public Hearing at approximately <br />7:22 p.m. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Prewitt, seconded by Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, to <br />approve Ordinance 2015 -07, on the first of two readings. The Council provided direction to Staff <br />to bring back a fee review of the program. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 5 - Mayor Guerrero, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, Council <br />Member Prewitt and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 1 - Council Member Thomason <br />Absent: 1 - Council Member Thomaides <br />18. 7:OOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments <br />for or against Ordinance 2015 -08 amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by <br />rezoning 15.728 acres, more or less, of land comprised of the four corner lots at the <br />intersection of Wonder World Drive and Craddock Avenue to "CC" Community <br />Commercial District, said tracts being part of what is commonly known as the C &G <br />Tract, which is subject to a Development Agreement with the City; and including <br />procedural provisions; and Consider approval of Ordinance 2015 -08, on the first of <br />two readings. <br />Shannon Mattingly, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided the Council with a <br />brief presentation on the request. <br />Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing at approximately 7:33 p.m. <br />Thomas Rhoades, ETR Development Consulting, Lockhart, TX, spoke in favor of this item. <br />There being no further comments Mayor Guerrero closed the Public Hearing at approximately <br />7:34 p.m. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, <br />to approve Ordinance 2015 -08, on the first of two readings, be approved.
