The Council provided direction to Staff to bring back a fee review of the program. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 5 - Mayor Guerrero, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, Council Member Prewitt and Council Member Hughson Against: 1 - Council Member Thomason Absent: 1 - Council Member Thomaides 18. 7:OOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Ordinance 2015 -08 amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning 15.728 acres, more or less, of land comprised of the four corner lots at the intersection of Wonder World Drive and Craddock Avenue to "CC" Community Commercial District, said tracts being part of what is commonly known as the C &G Tract, which is subject to a Development Agreement with the City; and including procedural provisions; and Consider approval of Ordinance 2015 -08, on the first of two readings. Shannon Mattingly, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided the Council with a brief presentation on the request. Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing at approximately 7:33 p.m. Thomas Rhoades, ETR Development Consulting, Lockhart, TX, spoke in favor of this item. There being no further comments Mayor Guerrero closed the Public Hearing at approximately 7:34 p.m. A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, to approve Ordinance 2015 -08, on the first of two readings, be approved. Consider approval of Resolution 2015 -14R approving the Release of an Electric Utility Easement across Lot 1 of the Simon Addition, located at 1305 South IH -35; authorizing the City Manager to execute this Release of Easement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date.
