services identified in this Section 1.2 as specifically authorized by the Work Authorization Form <br />for each of the Project(s) assigned. The Engineer shall: <br />1.2.1 Provide database updates to include updating distribution load flow data bases and system <br />maps. <br />1.2.2 Prepare system load forecasts including forecasts of system peak kilowatt (kW) demands; <br />system MWH purchases and sales; and substation summer and winter peak kW demands. <br />1.2.3 Prepare System work plan documents necessary for reliable and economic operation of the <br />System. The Engineer shall base its recommendations in these documents on an analysis of the <br />existing System, System load forecasts and current voltage drop and load flow studies. The <br />Engineer shall list the specific System improvement projects with cost estimates and circuit <br />diagram maps identifying each project location in the planning documents. <br />1.2.4 Prepare fault current and sectionalizing studies to provide for the proper coordination and <br />operation of System protective devices. <br />1.3 TASK 3 — DISTRIBUTION LINE DESIGN <br />For each Project assigned by the City, the Engineer shall perform all or some of the services <br />identified in this Section 1.3 as specifically authorized by the Work Authorization Form for each <br />of the Project(s) assigned. The Engineer shall: <br />1.3.1 Perform field design of distribution system upgrades including inventorying existing <br />facilities, designating new construction units, designating construction units to be removed and <br />staking new facility locations. <br />1.3.2 Prepare staking sheets to include designating new and retired construction units. <br />1.3.3 Ensure that distribution line facility designs conform to the City's distribution line design <br />specifications, the Rural Utilities Service Specifications and Standards and to the requirements of the <br />National Electrical Safety Code or State of Texas Codes whichever are more stringent. <br />1.4 TASK 4— INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION OF WORK ORDER CONSTRUCTION <br />For each Project assigned by the City, the Engineer shall perform all or some of the services <br />identified in this Section 1.4 as specifically authorized by the Work Authorization Form for each <br />of the Project(s) assigned. The Engineer shall: <br />1.4.1 Determine whether construction conforms to the requirements of the City, the Rural Utilities <br />Service Specifications and Standards and to the requirements of the National Electrical Safety Code <br />or State of Texas Codes whichever are more stringent. <br />Master Electrical Engineering Services Agreement — Schneider 2015 <br />3 <br />
