For each Project assigned by the City, the Engineer shall perform all or some of the services <br />identified in this Section 1.7 as specifically authorized by the Work Authorization Form for each <br />of the Project(s) assigned. The Engineer shall: <br />1.7.1 Provide surveying, right -of -way acquisition, and permitting services. <br />1.7.2 Perform System Mapping Services. <br />1.7.3 Perform Computer Assisted Drafting ( "CAD ") Services. <br />1.7.4 Perform Power Quality Monitoring. <br />1.7.5 Perform Key Account services. <br />1.7.6 Conduct various studies as requested by the City. <br />1.8 ADDITIONAL SERVICES /CHANGE OR DELAY IN SERVICES/PROJECT <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br />1.8.1 The City may direct the Engineer to perform services outside of the scope of the Basic <br />Services described in Sections 1.1 through 1.7 above (the "Additional Services "). The Engineer <br />shall submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before <br />initiating any Additional Services. <br />1.8.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the Engineer <br />must be authorized by the City on a city- approved Change in Services form. Compensation for <br />Additional Services will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with <br />Article 13 of this Agreement. The approval of the San Marcos City Council is necessary for all <br />Additional Services the compensation for which exceeds $50,000.00. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City shall: <br />2.1 Furnish to the Engineer during the term of this Agreement copies of current engineering <br />studies, maps, and other pertinent System data as necessary to perform the engineering services. <br />2.2 Be responsible for providing the Engineer with the information necessary to update the <br />System data in the Engineer's files. <br />2.3 The City shall furnish the services of qualified personnel whenever such services are <br />required to obtain engineering information. <br />Master Electrical Engineering Services Agreement — Schneider 2015 <br />5 <br />
