The limits of the route survey will generally be a 3,100' foot long corridor from <br />right of way line to right of way line of each of the public streets. There is also a 600' long corridor between Cape <br />Road and Laredo Street that is 40' wide. The areas are also shown in the attachment emailed to our office on June <br />5, 2014 and attached to this proposal. We are also to acquire the right of entries for 6 properties and prepare the <br />legal descriptions and sketches for 6 easements. There are no requirements for subsurface utility investigation for <br />this project. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR ROUTE SURVEY <br />1. Obtain and review pertinent ownership, right of way and utility information from the City of San Marcos <br />and the Hays County Tax Office and utility owners. <br />2. Field locate right of way evidence, fences, sidewalks, driveways, top of water valve nut, water meters, <br />water valves and hydrants, wastewater, storm, electric telephone /utility poles, gas and other underground <br />and surface utilities. Also, field locate traffic signs, light poles, power poles, guide wires, electric manholes, <br />telephone manholes, electric or telephone pull boxes, traffic pull boxes, traffic control loops, warning signs <br />for underground utilities and other surface features within the right of way not listed. Manholes and inlets <br />will be opened and detailed if possible. Flow line elevations will be taken at both ends of existing culverts. <br />3. Detail manholes, take elevation of all inverts in and out of manhole and lid elevations, and detail all <br />upstream and downstream manholes. Electric and communication manholes will not be opened. <br />4. Locate trees 8" trunk diameter and greater per City of San Marcos Standards. Cedar trees will not be <br />located unless they are protected trees. <br />5. Take sufficient elevations to develop a 1.0 foot interval contour line map. <br />6.
