37 Regular Meeting May 2'7, 1987 Page 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 3, LOTS 8 AND 9, OF THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOL- UME Z, PAGE 29 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF THE 200 BLOCK OF MOORE STREET (RANCH ROAD 12), FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the amendment. No one did, so Mr. Farr closed the public hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Farr introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 11, OF THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME Z, PAGE 29 OF HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, A/K/A 411 W. HOPKINS, FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMER- CIAL: AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the amendment. No one did, so Mr. Farr closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolu- tion and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 6-26.1 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REDUCING THE LATE CHARGE ON DELINQUENT CITY CEMETERY ACCOUNTS, AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. The amendment is to correct an error in the Ordinance to change 18% monthly to 1.5% monthly làte charge. The Council voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 13-1/2-4 (C) , EXAMIN- ING AND SUPERVISING BOARD OF HEATING AND AIR CONDI- TIONING CONTRACTORS, OF CHAPTER 13-1/2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF THE BOND FOR LICENSING OF MASTER HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS FROM ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) TO FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00) TO GUARANTEE FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, REGULATING INSTALLATION AND REPAIR OF AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AND EQUIPMENT APPARATUS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
