<br />37 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />May 2'7, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 3, LOTS 8 <br />AND 9, OF THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOL- <br />UME Z, PAGE 29 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF THE <br />200 BLOCK OF MOORE STREET (RANCH ROAD 12), FROM HIGH <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor or in opposition to the amendment. No one did, so <br />Mr. Farr closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolu- <br />tion and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first <br />reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 6-26.1 OF THE SAN <br />MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REDUCING THE LATE CHARGE <br />ON DELINQUENT CITY CEMETERY ACCOUNTS, AND ESTABLISHING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded <br />the motion. The amendment is to correct an error in the Ordinance to <br />change 18% monthly to 1.5% monthly làte charge. The Council voted <br />unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first <br />reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 13-1/2-4 (C) , EXAMIN- <br />ING AND SUPERVISING BOARD OF HEATING AND AIR CONDI- <br />TIONING CONTRACTORS, OF CHAPTER 13-1/2 OF THE CODE <br />OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT <br />OF THE BOND FOR LICENSING OF MASTER HEATING AND AIR <br />CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS FROM ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($1,000.00) TO FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00) TO <br />GUARANTEE FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THE ORDINANCES OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, REGULATING INSTALLATION <br />AND REPAIR OF AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AND EQUIPMENT <br />APPARATUS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />
