The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, Deputy <br />Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, Council Member Prewitt and Council <br />Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />6. Consider approval of the following meeting minutes: <br />May 15, 2015, Packet Meeting Workshop <br />May 19, 2015, Regular City Council Meeting <br />May 21, 2015, Pre - Budget Workshop Agenda <br />7. Consider approval of Ordinance 2015 -19, on the second of two readings, amending the <br />City's 2014 -2015 Budget to authorize the expenditure of State Asset Forfeiture Funds in <br />an amount not to exceed $11,888.32 for painting, marking, and equipping an armored <br />personnel vehicle obtained in 2013 through the Department of Defense 1033 Program; <br />and providing an effective date. <br />8. Consider approval of Resolution 2015 -60R, approving a Professional Services Agreement <br />between the City and Brown Reynolds Watford Architects, Inc. for the provision of <br />Professional Architectural Services in connection with the San Marcos Fire Station No. 4 <br />project in the not -to- exceed amount of $358,800.00 contingent upon the Architect's <br />provision of sufficient insurance in accordance with the attached agreement; authorizing <br />the City Manager or his designee to execute this agreement on behalf of the City; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />9. Consider approval of Resolution 2015-61R, approving the purchase of a 2015 Spartan <br />Heavy Rescue Light Air Apparatus for the Fire Department from Metro Fire Apparatus <br />Specialists, Inc. through the Houston - Galveston Area Council of Governments <br />Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract #FS12 -13 for Fire Service Apparatus in the <br />total amount of $782,697.00; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the <br />appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. <br />10. Consider approval of Resolution 2015 -62R approving a Multi -Party Agreement for Mutual <br />Aid in Fire Protection and /or Emergency Medical Services and Cooperative Training; <br />authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the City; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />11. Consider approval of Resolution 2015 -63R, requesting that the Hays Central Appraisal <br />District reappraise properties in the City of San Marcos affected by the recent historic <br />flooding as authorized by Texas Tax Code Section 23.02. <br />A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, seconded by Council Member Thomason, to <br />approve Resolution2015 -63R.
