<br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting August 9, 1993 Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Plummer introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS¡ <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING <br />LOT 38 OF BLOCK A, PARKLANE GARDEN HOMES SUBDIVISION, PHASE II, <br />AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 5, PAGE 165 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT <br />RECORDS AND LOT 59 OF BLOCK A AND LOT 33 OF BLOCK B OF SUNRIDGE <br />P.U.D. SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 4, PAGES 309-311 OF <br />THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, FROM "PUD" (PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO uP" (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL <br />DISTRICT) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Plummer opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the zoning amendment. No one did, so Mr. <br />Plummer closed the public hearing. Mr. Moore moved for adoption of <br />the Zoning ordinance and Mr. Cox seconded the motion. AS <br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 4, PAGES 309-311 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT <br />RECORDS, LOCATED IN THE 1900 BLOCK OF LANCASTER STREET AND <br />ALONG THE AUTUMN COVE AND MEADOWRIDGE COVE CUL-DE-SACS¡ FROM <br />"PUD" (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO "R-2" <br />(SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [MEDIUM DENSITY]) AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Plummer opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the zoning amendment.
