1.6.16 Prepare or cause to be prepared, and submit to the City a set of reproducible record <br />drawings showing significant changes in the work made during the construction phase. The <br />Engineer will submit two full -size hard copy record drawings to the City, as well as one CD <br />containing electronic copies in PDF and CAD formats. <br />1.6.17 Ensure that all notices and signs required and provided by the City are posted in appropriate <br />locations at the Project site by the Contractor. <br />1.6.18 Conduct a final inspection with the City and prepare a punch list prior to final acceptance <br />by the City. <br />1.6.19 Prior to the end of the one year warranty period, review the completed Project with the City <br />and the Contractor and have all deficient items corrected. The extent of the duties, responsibilities <br />and limitations of authority of the Engineer as the City's representative during construction will <br />not be modified or extended after the construction contract documents have been authorized by <br />the City to be competitively bid without written consent of the City and the Engineer and with <br />notice to the Contractor. <br />1.7 DELIVERABLES <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.7.1 Provide the City with presentation boards, research, detailed cost estimates and other <br />recommendations in both a written hard copy and as and electronic file as pdf files. <br />1.7.2 Provide the City with electronic copies of plans, specifications and any PowerPoint <br />presentations developed as part of the Project. <br />1.8 ADDITIONAL SERVICES /CHANGE OR DELAY IN SERVICES/PROJECT <br />ASSUMTPIONS <br />1.8.1 The City may direct the Engineer to perform services outside of the scope of the Basic <br />Services described in Sections 1.1 through 1.7 above. The Engineer will submit a written estimate <br />of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. Support of the City's permitting efforts with technical <br />documentation as required is considered to be an additional service. <br />1.8.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the Engineer <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment B. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Article 15 of this Agreement.
