City Council <br />Meeting Minutes September 15, 2015 <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Pro -Tem Prather <br />22. Consider approval of Resolution 2015 -132R making appointments to the Board of <br />Directors of the Hays Caldwell Public Utility Agency; and declaring an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded by Council <br />Member Prewitt, that Resolution 2015 -1328 be approved. The motion carried <br />by the following vote: <br />For: 6- Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Council Member Prewitt and Council Member <br />Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Pro -Tem Prather <br />23. Consider approval of Resolution 2015 -133R providing nominations to serve on the <br />Caldwell County Appraisal District Board of Directors for a two year term commencing <br />on January 1, 2016; and declaring an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, seconded by Council <br />Member Prewitt, that Resolution 2015 -133R be approved without any <br />nominations. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6- Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Council Member Prewitt and Council Member <br />Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Pro-Tern Prather <br />24. Consider ratification, by motion, of the tax rate reflected in the proposed budget of <br />53.02 cents per $100 valuation, which will raise more revenue from property taxes <br />than in the previous fiscal year. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Council Member <br />Prewitt, to ratify the property tax rate refelected in the budget. The motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6- Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Council Member Prewitt and Council Member <br />Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Pro -Tem Prather <br />25.
