He doesn't <br />support Staffs feeling about Tract F, and doesn't feel that Community <br />Commercial is the best zoning for that tract because it is the least visible from <br />the interstate and not conducive of retail or a restaurant. <br />There being no further comments, Mayor Guerrero closed the Public Dearing <br />at 7:37 p.m. <br />Main Motion: A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded <br />by Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, to approve Ordinance 201548, on the first of two <br />readings. Staff will provided more information about the riparian areas and <br />also include the Planning and Zoning Recommendation more clearly. <br />Motion to amend: A motion was made by Council Member Thomaides, <br />seconded by Council Member Hughson, that Ordinance 201548 be amended <br />by removing Lot 1, Block F from the approval of the amendment to the <br />Preferred Scenario Map.. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Scott, Council Member Prather, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Thomason <br />Main Motion: to approve Ordinance 201548 be approved as amended, on the <br />first of two readings. Consider approval of Ordinance 2015 -49, on the first of two readings, amending <br />Section 74.027 of the San Marcos City Code to allow temporary street closures for <br />certain purposes; providing for the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and providing <br />an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded by Mayor <br />Pro -Tem Prather, that Ordinance 2015 -49, on the first of two readings, be <br />approved.
