Includes hydrologic and hydraulic calculations <br />(f) Prepare drainage design standards <br />(g) Calculate drainage quantities /estimate <br />Erosion Control Sheets <br />(a) Layouts shall be prepared detailing the locations and quantities of temporary storm water management <br />devices. Temporary storm water management devices shall be needed to minimize the sediment runoff <br />during construction of this project. The anticipated design components to be utilized on this project are silt <br />fence, sand bags, rock filter dams, sediment traps, and construction exits. Permanent erosion control <br />measures shall be included on these sheets as well. <br />(b) Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SW3P) shall be prepared for this job in accordance with TCEQ <br />regulations. These sheets shall consist of the TxDOT SW3P text sheets that summarize erosion control <br />measures. <br />(c) Prepare erosion control standards <br />(d) Calculate erosion control quantities /estimate <br />B. WATER POLLUTION ABATEMENT PLAN <br />The project is NOT located within the Edwards Aquifer Contributing or Recharge Zone. No W PAP is anticipated. <br />VII.SIGNING, PAVEMENT MARKINGS and ILLUMINATION(Permanent) <br />A. SIGNING AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS <br />1. Small signs shall be shown on these plan sheets. Each sign shall have a corresponding number that shall relate <br />that sign to the sign summaries. Pavement markings shall be depicted on these sheets. Scale 1 " =40'. <br />2. Detail sheets for small signs shall be prepared for non - standard signs. This sheet is intended to show the overall <br />dimensions of the signs by determining letter size and spacing. Details shall not be to scale. <br />3. Prepare small sign summary of all signs required within the project limits. <br />4. Prepare pavement markings and sign standards. <br />5. Calculate sign and pavement marking quantities/estimate. <br />B. ILLUMINATION <br />1. Perform illumination calculations for illumination spacing requirements. Coordinate illumination pole <br />type/height with City. <br />2. Illumination sheets will be prepared at 1 " =40', utilizing standard illumination details provided by the City. <br />3. Prepare illumination detail sheets. <br />4. Prepare illumination standards <br />5. Calculate illumination quantities and estimate. <br />VIII. SIGNALS (subconsultant Klotz) <br />A. Task 1: Traffic Signal Warrant Analysis (TSWA) <br />The TSWA for the subject intersection will be conducted based on the guidelines established in the most recent <br />Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD), and will include the following subtasks: <br />1. Data Collection — The traffic data required for the signal warrant analysis includes: <br />• Daily traffic volume (24 -hour traffic volumes for a continuous 24 -hour period) along each approach <br />of the study intersection during a typical weekday (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). <br />i. Peak Hour (7 to 9 AM and 4 to 6 PM) turning movement counts during a typical weekday <br />(Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) at the subject intersection. <br />ii. Crash records for the study intersection during the most recent thirty six (36) month period <br />(if available). <br />2. Site Inspection <br />• A site inspection at the study intersection will be conducted to record existing traffic characteristics <br />observed in the field.
