I . 30% Plan & Profile Sheets of the preferred alignment for the water <br />line and sidewalk improvements, showing existing right-of-way, <br />existing and proposed appurtenances (valves, fire hydrants, <br />services), and proposed workspace. Sheets shall be 11" x 175 <br />, <br />aerial based, and be at a scale of 1" = 40'; <br />2. Class C opinion of probable cost for the preferred route; <br />3. Trenchless installation method recommendation; <br />4. Permitting requirements and associated timeframes; <br />5. KFA will provide three (3) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy <br />in pdf form of the Design Memorandum to the City. <br />b. Blanco River Crossing Waterline: <br />i. Preliminary Engineering Design Memorandum: KFA will prepare a <br />Design Memorandum summarizing the investigation and <br />recommendation for the alignment for crossing the Blanco River. At a <br />minimum the Design Memorandum will include: <br />1. 30% Plan & Profile Exhibits of the alignment alternatives for the <br />water line showing property lines, existing and proposed <br />appurtenances (valves, fire hydrants, services), and proposed <br />workspace. Sheets shall be 22" x 34", aerial based, and be at a scale <br />of 1" = 60'; <br />2. Class C opinion of probable cost for the preferred route; <br />3. Trenchless installation method recommendation <br />4. Permitting requirements and associated timeframes <br />5. KFA will provide three (3) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy <br />in pdf form of the Design Memorandum to the City. <br />B. Phase B — Design Phase (60%/90%/100%) <br />1. Project Management and QA/QC: This task includes routine communication with the City; <br />managing subconsultants, manpower, budgets, and schedules; invoicing; implementing <br />and monitoring of QA/QC efforts; and other activities associated with managing the <br />project. <br />2. Meetings <br />a. Project Meetings: Two (2) project meetings with the City have been budgeted for <br />the Design Phase to review the City's comments on the 90% and 100% submittals. <br />3. Tasks <br />a. Erosion/Sedimentation Control: KFA will develop erosion and sedimentation <br />control measures. SWPPP and EPIC sheets will be provided within the plan set. <br />b. Traffic Control: Traffic control sequencing for construction of the improvements <br />will be developed. <br />c. Permitting: <br />N <br />
