Regarding item 21, he asked Council <br />to please not water down the water conservation rules. Some people in the community are still <br />watering lawns more days than they should. If we water down the rules and allow people to <br />choose which days they will water, it will be difficult to monitor. Consider adoption on second and final reading of Ordinance 2009-28, amending to <br />Chapter 54, Miscellaneous Offenses of the San Marcos City Code by adopting Article 3, <br />Curfew, creating curfew hours for minors; setting out violations and defenses; establishing <br />penalties for the violation thereof, providing for publication; and declaring an effective <br />date. <br />13. Consider adoption of Resolution 2009-75R, approvine an amendment to the tax <br />abatement aereement between the City and Genlyte Thomas Group, LLC; authorizing the <br />City Manager to execute the aereement; and declaring an effective date. <br />14. Consider adoption of Resolution 2009-76R, approving the allocation of 2009 <br />Communitv Development Block Grant funds; authorizing the City Manager to act as the <br />official representative of the City in matters related to the CDBG Program and Action Plan <br />and declaring an effective date. <br />15. Consider adoption of Resolution 2009-77R ratifying the submittal of a grant <br />application to the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) in the sum of <br />$20,000 for fundine of spay/neuter programs to be administered by San Marcos Animal <br />Services in collaboration with Prevent a Litter of Central Texas (PALS); and declaring an <br />effective date. <br />RM060209 Minutes Page 3
