3 <br />Regular Meeting October 9, 1995 Page 2 <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to complete a vacancy on the Housing Authority Board. <br />Mr. Taylor advised the City Council there are no residency <br />requirements in State law regarding the Housing Authority Board. <br />Mr. Moore moved to appoint Kyev Tatum, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to complete a vacancy on the Cemetery Commission. Mr. <br />Moore moved to appoint Dr. Kenneth Long and Mayor Morris moved to <br />appoint Henry C. Kyle. On roll call the following vote was <br />recorded: <br />LONG: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Guerra, Cox, Hernandez. <br />KYLE: Morris. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to the San Marcos Electric Utility (SMEU). Mayor Morris <br />moved to appoint Dolores Crittendon and Mr. Cox moved to appoint J. <br />E. Younger. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br />CRITTENDON: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Guerra, Hernandez. <br />YOUNGER: Cox. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of four <br />appointments to the Library Board. Mayor Morris moved to appoint D. <br />J. Domstead (out of City limits) and Mr. Moore moved to reappoint <br />Louis Moloney (inside City limits), which passed unanimously. Mr. <br />Moore moved to appoint Laura Schuett (inside City limits), which <br />passed unanimously. The remaining appointment will be rescheduled <br />at the next meeting. <br />E <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of three <br />appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission. All three <br />appointments must reside inside the City limits. Mr. Moore moved to j <br />reappoint Linda Keese and reappoint Alice Lochman, Mr. Hart moved to <br />appoint Larry Hammonds, and Mayor Morris moved to reappoint Aart <br />Millecam. On roll call the following votes were recorded: <br />MOORE: Millecam, Keese, Lochman. <br />MOONEY: Millecam, Kolb, Hammonds. <br />HART: Millecam, Kolb, Hammonds. <br />MORRIS: Millecam, Kolb, Hammonds. <br />GUERRA: Millecam, Kolb, Hammonds. <br />COX: Millecam, Keese, Lochman. <br />HERNANDEZ: Millecam, Kolb, Hammonds. <br />Mr. Millecam was reappointed and Ms. Kolb and Mr. Hammonds were <br />appointed to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of five <br />appointments to the Senior Citizens Task Force. Mayor Morris moved <br />to place in nomination the names of Thomas Ates to represent <br />African-American community, Ruben Garza and Mary Sample to represent <br />the Housing Authority, and Dr. Kenneth Long, Wilma Long and Lynn <br />Ahrens to represent Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) and Mr. <br />Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call for representation of <br />CTMC, the following vote was recorded: <br />MOORE: Ahrens, K. Long, W. Long. <br />MOONEY: Ahrens. <br />HART: K. Long, W. Long. <br />MORRIS: Ahrens, K. Long, W. Long. <br />GUERRA: Ahrens. <br />COX: Ahrens, K. Long, W. Long. <br />HERNANDEZ: Ahrens. <br />?t <br />Lynn Ahrens, Dr. Kenneth Long and Wilma Long will alternate <br />representing CTMC. On roll call for the appointment of the Housing <br />Authority, the following vote was recorded:
