Mr. <br />Moore moved to reappoint Fred Markham and appoint Jeffrey Hill, <br />Mayor Morris moved to appoint Mary Borm and reappoint Diana Sellers, <br />Mr. Cox moved to reappoint Al Lowman and appoint Doug stewart, and <br />Mr. Hernandez moved to appoint John Diaz. On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />MARKHAM: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. <br />HILL: Moore, Hernandez. <br />BORM: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. <br />SELLERS: Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. <br />LOWMAN: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. <br />STEWART: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox. <br />DIAZ: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. <br /> <br />Mr. Fred Markham was reappointed, Mrs. Mary Borm was appointed, Ms. <br />Diana Sellers was reappointed, Mr. Al Lowman was reappointed, Mr. <br />Doug Stewart was appointed and Mr. John Diaz was appointed as the <br />six appointments to CTHEA. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br />. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY, FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE AND <br />PROFESSIONAL FOR A 0.941 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE <br />400 BLOCK OF SESSOM DRIVE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. <br />Cox moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Hernandez seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY, FROM INDUSTRIAL AND FLOATING COMMERCIAL TO COMMERCIAL <br />FOR A 4.451 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 221 AND 323 <br />WONDER WORLD DRIVE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing (Mr. <br />Guerra present at this time - 7:57 p.m.). Mr. Hart moved for <br />adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Mooney seconded the motion. On <br />roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: Guerra. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING <br />A 0.75 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 822 ALABAMA STREET <br />FROM "M" (SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS <br />DISTRICT) TO "MR" (MOBILE HOME AND RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak. Peter Mendoza stated he is buying this property and is in <br />favor of the zoning change. No one else wished to speak, so Mayor <br />Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Hernandez moved for adoption <br />of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />
