City Council Meeting Minutes April 19, 2016 <br />Paul Cauduro, addressed the council on behalf of the Austin Apartment <br />Association and that they are committed to getting the word out about these <br />new requirements adopted in Items #6 and #7. Consider approval of the following: <br />April 5, 2016 - Regular Meeting Minutes <br />April 11, 2016 - Budget Workshop Meeting Minutes <br />5. Consider approval of Ordinance 2016 -04, on the second of two readings, amending <br />Section 2.332 of the San Marcos City Code Composition; Qualifications and <br />Appointment of Members of the Airport Advisory Board; providing for the repeal of any <br />conflicting provisions; and providing an effective date. <br />6. Consider approval of Ordinance 2016 -08, on the second of two readings, amending <br />Chapter 39 of the City Code relating to flood damage prevention by adding Section <br />39.046(2) regarding notification to prospective tenants in flood zone areas; providing a <br />savings clause; providing for the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and providing an <br />effective date. <br />7. Consider approval of Ordinance 2016 -09, on the second of two readings, amending <br />Chapter 14, Article 8 of the San Marcos City Code creating local amendments to the <br />2015 International Property Maintenance Code by adding sections 305.3.1 and <br />305.3.2 regarding disinfection of premises following flood events; providing a savings <br />clause; providing for the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and providing an effective <br />date. <br />8. Consider approval of Resolution 2016 -52R directing City Staff to record a <br />Memorandum in the Real Property Records stating that it is a violation of the San <br />Marcos City Code to use or allow a dwelling unit to be used for occupancy by more <br />than two unrelated persons within the SF -4.5, SF -6, SF -11, DR, TH, or PH -ZL Zoning <br />Districts; and providing an effective date <br />9. Consider approval of Resolution 2016 -53R approving a Memorandum of <br />City of San Marcos Page 3 <br />
