Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, , TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.43 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY, LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF THE 700 BLOCK OF SAN ANTONIO STREET, FROM "TH-1" (TOWNHOUSE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) TO "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [LOW DENSITY]) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Morris ,opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Hart moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Plummer moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerra not present to vote on this item). Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE 1994-12, WHICH ORDERED A JOINT GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTION BY THE CITY AND THE SAN MARCOS CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT TO BE HELD ON MAY 7, 1994, TO CHANGE THE APPOINTMENT OF A PRESIDING JUDGE FOR THE EARLY VOTING BALLOT BOARD; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mr. Cox moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Moore not present to vote on this item). Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read .as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1993-1994 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR LEGAL SERVICES FOR THE CITY'S WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT RENEWAL; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Cox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Moore not present to vote on this item). Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held March 28, 1994, adoption of six Resolutions, approval for use of Tourist Account Funds in the amount of $675.00 for one additional bus to be used on April 22, 1994 at the Texas Municipal League Board Meeting in San Marcos for the purpose of promoting tourism, and approval of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the year ended September 30, 1993 on consensus.
