The Council discussed the letter from SMCISD requesting an exemption from paying the surcharge, and the council determined to review the exemption request in six months at the end of the moratorium period. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 14, 1994, approval of three Ordinances on second reading, adoption of thirteen Resolutions and approval to authorize receipt of bids for the sale of City-owned property, Lot 1, Block 26 of the Victory Gardens, section II Addition (600 Block of Knox Street) on consensus. The Council removed Items 7.B. (3), 7.C.(10), 7. C. (12) and 7. C. (13) to be considered separately. Mr. Guerra moved for approval the minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 14, 1994, approval of the remaining two Ordinances on second reading, and adoption of the remaining ten Resolutions on consensus and Mr. Mooney seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
