1.5.1 Create maps to define paid parking area(s) /parking benefit districts. <br />1.5.2 Review parking technology and select preferred technology option(s) in coordination with <br />the City. <br />1.5.3 Review parking enforcement strategies /policies /technologies and select preferred options <br />in coordination with the City. <br />1.5.4 In coordination with the City develop a draft technology implementation strategy. <br />1.5.5 Identify potential issues /concerns related to paid parking implementation while remaining <br />sensitive to unintended consequences. For example, if paid parking is successful in moving <br />employees out of on- street spaces, but there are no viable alternatives provided, this could create <br />a problem in residential areas. <br />1.5.6 Mid - project milestone meeting with City staff. <br />1.5.7 Additional community engagement meeting. Once a preferred paid parking strategy has <br />been defined and approved by City staff, conduct an additional community engagement meeting <br />to present the preferred strategy and obtain additional community feedback. <br />1.6 TASK 6 - BUSINESS/FUNDING PLAN, PROGRAM BUDGET AND FINANCIAL <br />PRO -FORMA DEVELOPMENT <br />The Consultant will: <br />1.6.1 Review and discuss potential Program funding options with the City. <br />1.6.2 In coordination with the City develop a draft budget based on the preferred Program scope <br />and organizational structure. <br />1.6.3 Based on Program development assumptions develop a multi -year Program financial <br />proforma for the City's review and approval. <br />1.6.4 Conduct a conference call with the City Manager's Office and Finance Department staff. <br />1.7 TASK 7 OPTIONAL PARKING FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />The Consultant will: <br />1.7.1 Assist the City in projecting future parking needs based on planning data. <br />Kimley -Horn and Associates, Inc.
