31 Regular Meeting January 24, 1994 Page 5 Mayor Morris introduced a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 821 ALABAMA STREET FROM "M" SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT, "R-1" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) AND "P" PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL í DISTRICT TO "MR" MOBILE HOME AND RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the zoning amendment. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
