City Council Meeting Minutes August 2, 2016 building permit is obtained and renumber the sections. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and Council Member Gregson Against: 0 Motion to Amend: A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, seconded by Council Member Derrick, that Ordinance 2016 -27 be amended to require HEB to perform the archaeological study that complies with the Texas State Historical Commission requirements. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and Council Member Gregson Against: 0 Motion to Amend: A motion was made by Council Member Hughson, seconded by Council Member Derrick, that Ordinance 2016 -27 be amended to add the word "anniversary" in front for the word "date" regarding the annual maintenance report. Council also requested that future PDD's have page numbers on them for ease of reference. Council also requested that Staff look at options for lane configurations. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and Council Member Gregson Against: 0 Motion to Amend: A motion was made by Council Member Hughson, seconded by Mayor Guerrero, that Ordinance 2016 -27 be amended to to not include the following that was passed by the Planning and Zoning Commission, "to add the condition that requires the truck entrance and exit on Wonder World Drive to be an open and allow a left turn onto Wonder World Drive rather than a right -in /right -out only." The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and Council Member Gregson Against: 0 Motion to Amend: A motion was made by Council Member Derrick, seconded by Council Member Hughson, that Ordinance 2016 -27 be amended to stated that HEB will offer an open house that will include participation of San Marcos citizens regarding design.
