Mr. Guerra will make his appointment at the next <br />meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one 'appointment <br />to the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Mihalkanin will make an <br />appointment at the next meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of two <br />appointments to the Senior Citizens Facilities Advisory Board. Mr. <br />Cox moved to reappoint patricia Parks and Mr. Guerra moved to <br />appoint Grace Camacho, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of three <br />appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor <br />Moore moved to reappoint Sheldon Kramer, reappoint Daron Phillips <br />and reappoint Mack Howard, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of seven <br />appointments to the Charter Review Commission. Mr. Mihalkanin moved <br />to appoint Chris Banbury, Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Ted Hindson, <br />Mr. Hart will make his appointment at the next meetìng, Mayor Moore <br />moved to appoint Melvia Randle, Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Earl <br />Moseley, Mr. Cox moved to appoint Augustin Lucio and Mr. Hernandez <br />will make his appointment at the next meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the Economic Development Council. Mr. Cox moved to appoint <br />Ronald K. Hart as the City Council Representative, which passed <br />unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on <br />first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 42.076 OF THE CITY CODE TO PROVIDE FOR <br /> EXPIRATION OF CERTIFICATES OF APPROPRIATENESS ISSUED BY THE <br /> HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION¡ INCLUDING PROCEDURAL <br /> PROVISIONS¡ AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> . <br />Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion. Mr. Patterson advised the <br />Council the Historic Preservation Commission wanted a cap on the <br />start and completion of work. The Council voted unanimously for <br />approval of the Ordinance on first reading. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on <br />first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING THE TRAFFIC REGISTER MAINTAINED UNDER SECTION <br /> 82.067 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE BY THE ADDITION OF NO <br /> PARKING RESTRICTIONS DURING THE HOURS OF 7:30 A.M. TO 9:30 A.M. <br /> AND 4:30 P.M. TO 6:30 P.M. FOR BOTH SIDES OF BARNES DRIVE AND <br /> CHISOS STREET¡ INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS¡ AND PROVIDING <br /> FOR PENALTIES. <br />Mr. Mihalkanin moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading <br />and Mr. Cox seconded the motion. The same vehicles continue to park <br />in restricted areas. Ms. Hughson stated block numbers are not <br />specified, and Mr. Taylor will amend the Ordinance for second <br />reading to add block numbers.
