City Council Meeting Minutes July 29,2016 <br /> housing" as a new land use allowed only by conditional use permit in certain zoning <br /> districts; amending Chapter 8, Article 2 of the Land Development Code to add a new <br /> definition for "purpose built student housing;" providing a savings clause; providing for <br /> the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and providing an effective date. <br /> 7. Resolution 2016-97R, approving the purchase of a Spartan Pumper Truck for the <br /> Fire Department from Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc. in the total amount of <br /> $683,831.00 through the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments <br /> Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract #FS 12-13 Fire Service Apparatus; <br /> authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate purchasing <br /> documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. <br /> 8. Resolution 2016-98R, approving an amended and restated Property Use <br /> Agreement between the City and Texas State University for the City's use of a parking <br /> area downtown and Texas State University's use of a parking area along Charles <br /> Austin; authorizing the City Manager to execute this agreement on behalf of the City; <br /> and declaring an effective date. <br /> 9. Resolution 2016-99R replacing the original Advance Funding Agreement and <br /> approving the replacement Advance Funding Agreement for a Local Transportation <br /> Project (CSJ-0914-33-032) between the City and the State of Texas acting through <br /> the Texas Department of Transportation ("TxDOT") for the Sessom Drive <br /> Improvements Project; increasing the City's local participation contribution from <br /> $821,500.00 to $1,550,008.00; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to <br /> execute this replacement Advance Funding Agreement on behalf of the City; and <br /> declaring an effective date. <br /> 10. Resolution 2016-100R, approving a Local Transportation Project Advance <br /> Funding Agreement with the State of Texas, acting through the Texas Department of <br /> Transportation (CSJ No. 0914-33-075), for construction of a multi-use bike and <br /> pedestrian facility along Hopkins Street from Thorpe lane to CM Allen Parkway, with <br /> an estimated cost of participation by the City of $750,740.00; authorizing the City <br /> Manager to execute said agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective <br /> date. <br /> 11. Resolution 2016-101R, rejecting both bids submitted for the purchase of Air Packs <br /> and Replacement Parts (#216-234) for the Fire Department; and declaring an <br /> effective date. <br /> 12. Resolution 2016-102R, finding that 23 air pack harnesses utilized by the City of <br /> San Marcos Fire Department to be surplus and of no value; authorizing the City to <br /> donate these air pack harnesses to Travis County Fire Rescue for training purposes; <br /> authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute any necessary documents to <br /> facilitate the donation of these air pack harnesses; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 13. Resolution 2016-103R supporting the submission of a Texas Commission on <br /> City of San Marcos Page 2 <br />
