On a second roll call for <br />a third appointment the following vote was recorded: <br />Mihalkanin: Natal. <br />Hughson: Mooney. <br />Hart: Mooney. <br />Moore: Natal. <br />Guerra: Mooney. <br />Cox: Mooney. <br />Hernandez: Natal. <br />Mr. Mooney received a majority of the votes to be appointed. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration an appointment to fill a vacancy on the Ethics Review <br />Commission. Mayor Moore moved to appoint Cathy Supple, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration two appointments to fill vacancies on the Main Street <br />Advisory Board. Mr. Cox moved to appoint Mike Dawood, which passed unanimously. Mayor <br />Moore requested the other appointment be made at the next Council Meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration confirmation of two appointments to the Civil Service <br />Commission. Mr. Gilley recommended Betty Banks be reappointed to the Commission. Mr. <br />Guerra moved to confirm Mr. Gilley's appointment and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. Mr. Gilley stated he would make his recommendation for the other <br />appointment at the next Council Meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING <br />A 1.168 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2215 RIVER ROAD FROM <br />"PD" PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO "MH" MOBILE HOME DISTRICT; <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS-; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br />Mayor Moore opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. There were no <br />speakers so Mayor Moore closed the public hearing. Mr. Taylor stated Mr. Endsley requested <br />this item be tabled because they may withdraw their request.
