iii. Final Preliminary Engineering Report: FNI will incorporate City comments and public <br /> comments from the public meeting(as directed by City)to develop the final PER. This <br /> will provide final direction for the continuation of the design phase. <br /> Submittal includes: <br /> • 3 (three)hardcopies <br /> • 1 (one) electronic copy(PDF) <br /> • 1 (one) CAD (DWG/DGN) files <br /> TASK 3 DESIGN PHASE (60%, 90%, 100%) <br /> A. Meetings <br /> i. Project Meetings: Conduct and attend two (2)review workshops <br /> • 60% design review workshop. After the 60% submittal, meet with the City to <br /> discuss major design elements that require changing and respond to City <br /> Comments. <br /> • Once the 60% design has been updated per the client comments and prior the 90% <br /> design submittal, any design changes will be locked. <br /> • 90% design, after the 90% submittal, meet with the City to discuss and identify <br /> project conflicts and respond to City comments. <br /> Attend 2 (two) meetings with Jail representatives to discuss coordination of project <br /> schedules and designs (support for up to 3 staff members). <br /> ii. Prepare Exhibits: FNI will prepare up to three (3) 22-inch by 34-inch colored exhibits <br /> per public meeting, prepare presentation materials in Powerpoint format, respond to <br /> questions in the meeting as needed,and prepare meeting minutes for the Public Meeting <br /> in Item iii for City to make decisions regarding the design path with FNI input. <br /> iii. Public Meetings: Plan, participate in, and assist the City with one (1) Public Meeting. <br /> The City will schedule, host, and be responsible for conducting the meeting. FNI will <br /> participate in a phone meeting with City staff at least two weeks prior to the public <br /> meeting to discuss the preferred presentation process and go over mockups of <br /> presentation materials. <br /> iv. Utility Coordination Meetings: FNI will attend up to one (1) utility coordination <br /> meetings arranged by the City and if requested by the City to attend. <br /> B. Design Sheet Categories <br /> i. Index: FNI will develop and maintain the sheet index including all sheets included in <br /> the plan set. As the plan set progresses, FNI will designate which sheets are not <br /> included in the submittal. <br /> ii. Quantity Table: FNI will develop total quantities for the project to be used for the <br /> development of the OPCC and bid form. Sheet quantities will be provided in the 90% <br /> deliverable. <br />
