There were no <br />nominations and this will be rescheduled for the next meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to <br />complete a vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Board. Mr. Doiron moved to <br />appoint Jessica Snider to complete the vacancy, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to <br />the Development Ordinance Review Task Force. Mayor Moore moved to appoint <br />Hill Rylander as the Historic Preservation Commission representative, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore instroduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on <br />emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />SETTING THE TAX RATE FOR THE 1999 TAX YEAR; LEVYING TAXES FOR THE USE <br />AND SUPPORT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1999, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2000; <br />PROVIDING A SINKING FUND FOR THE RETIREMENT OF THE BONDED DEBT OF THE <br />CITY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />Mr. Moseley moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Ms. <br />Hughson seconded the motion.
