City Council Meeting Minutes August 7,2018 <br /> 6. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-122R, approving an Advance Funding Agreement <br /> with the State of Texas, acting through the Texas Department of Transportation (CSI No. <br /> 0914-33-077), for the Downtown Accessible Traffic Signal Pedestrian Improvement <br /> Project, with an estimated cost of participation by the City of $40,973; authorizing the City <br /> Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 7. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-123R, approving a contract with Unifirst, Inc. for <br /> Uniform Rental and Laundering Services (IFB 218-314), for an estimated amount of <br /> $162,917.80; authorizing the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents on <br /> behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 8. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-124R, approving the award of a contract to Texas <br /> Disposal Systems, Inc. for Street Sweeping and Storm Water Pond Waste Disposal (IFB <br /> 218-273) with an estimated value of $110,000.00; authorizing the City Manager or his <br /> designee to execute the said agreement on behalf of the City and declaring an effective <br /> date. <br /> 9. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-125R, approving amendments that extend the <br /> terms for five additional years of a non-exclusive license agreement for the use of Public <br /> Rights-Of-Way and a License Agreement for attachments to Utility Facilities, each with <br /> ATC Outdoor Das, LLC. related to the installation of Distributed Antenna Systems <br /> ("DAS") in the City; authorizing the City Manager to execute these amendments on behalf <br /> of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 10. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-127R, approving a list of Qualified On-Call <br /> Geotechnical Services, Materials Testing Services, and Subsurface Utility Exploration <br /> Firms for their provision of Professional Consulting Services as needed in connection <br /> with various City projects; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 11. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-128R, approving a commercial lease agreement <br /> with Two Fold, LLC for the lease of space for the WIC Program Satellite Office at 641 <br /> North Walnut Avenue, New Braunfels, Texas for a term of 11 months at a rental rate of <br /> $1,550.00 per month; authorizing the City Manager to execute said commercial lease <br /> agreement; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 12. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-129R, approving a sublease with Community <br /> Action, Inc., of Central Texas for the lease of space for a WIC Satellite Office at 901 Bois <br /> D'Arc, Lockhart, Texas for a term ending in 2024; authorizing the City Manager to <br /> execute said sublease; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 13. Consider approval of Resolution 2018-132R, amending the City's Economic <br /> Development Policy and the Policy Regarding Use of the City of San Marcos Economic <br /> Development Supplemental Fund to provide that the Fund may be used for real property <br /> acquisition, land planning, engineering and other activities associated with the <br /> development of Workforce Housing, and establishing an effective date. <br /> During the Budget Workshop, staff asked council if the$200,000 that usually <br /> City al San Marcos Page 5 <br />
