Meld Investigation <br />a. Topographic Survey <br />1. LNV will provide a Registered Professional Land Surveyor to perforin field <br />surveys for the Project. All survey services will comply with the latest revision of <br />the Professional Land Surveying Practice Act of the State of Texas and will be <br />accomplished under the direct supervision of a currently licensed State of Texas <br />Registered Professional Land Surveyor. <br />2. Detailed topographic surveying is limited to the area, as shown in the attached <br />exhibit (Exhibit A) provided by the City, for the purpose of preparing Design <br />Documents. <br />3, Using Hags County Appraisal District (HCAD) and Hays County Clerk Websites, <br />LNV will gather ownership and deed information for base drawing; <br />4. LNV will prepare Right -of -Entry (RCE) agreements for adjacent landowners, <br />obtain City signature on ROE agreements, and coordinate with landowners as <br />required to acquire approval of ROE agreements for field work outside of the <br />existing public Right -of -Way (ROW). The City will provide the outline of the <br />agreement. LNV will submit agreements to the City for signature and LNV will ,nail <br />the signed agreements to the landowners via regular and certified ,nail, with a <br />return self-addressed stamped envelope. LNV will track receipt of executed <br />agreements. If the initial notice requesting ROE is .not returned within one (1) week <br />of delivery, a second notice requesting ROE will be sent by LNV. If .after one (1) <br />geek of delivery of the second notice the property owner is still unresponsive, the <br />City will be notified and the process escalated with assistance from the City. LV <br />will maintain a contact list of the property owners which will be made available to <br />the City. It is anticipated that there will be no more than four (4) ROE agreements <br />required for the Project. If additional Rtes are required, compensation may be <br />requested; <br />5. LNV will establish control for the site in IAD 83 horizontal datum, Texas State <br />vertical <br />lane Coordinate System South Central Zone surface coordinates and NAVE) 88 <br />Y ertical datum; <br />6, LNV will research existing plats, ROW maps, deeds, easements and survey for <br />fence corners, monuments, iron pins, etc., within the existing ROW and analyze <br />to establish apparent existing ROW. Apparent ROW is defined as the existing <br />ROW with a plus/minus `l -foot tolerance. The preliminary base map will display <br />the apparent ROW along with Hays County Appraisal District records of lot or <br />property lines, land ownership, and addresses as publicly available through <br />HCAD. <br />7. LNV will perform a topographic survey of the site in general conformance to a <br />Category 6 Condition 1 standard as referenced in the Manual of Practice for Land <br />Surveying in the State of Texas, latest edition. Topography elements within the <br />existing ROW, including but not limited to surface features such as pavement <br />edges, concrete curb, driveways, sidewalks and ramps, handrails, fences, street <br />signs, trees, ground bones, fire hydrants, manholes, valves, meters, utility risers, <br />utility poles, mail boxes, etc., <br />8. LNV will collect survey data of existing driveways adjacent to the Project within the <br />existing ROW <br />2 <br />
