The Council then voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration reconsideration of two Zoning Ordinances. The Council did not wish to reconsider either of these Ordinances. The captions of the Ordinances read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 2.097 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2104 AND 2106 HUNTER ROAD FROM ~PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING AN 8.093 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF RIVER ROAD AND OLD MARTINDALE ROAD FROM ~PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO ~C-2" (HEAVY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
