The remaining <br />appointment (San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce) will be rescheduled. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the <br />Human Development Commission. The Council had no nominations and this <br />will be rescheduled. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the <br />Cemetery Commission. The Council had no nominations and this will be <br />rescheduled. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the <br />San Marcos Electric Utility (SMEU). Mr. Mayhew moved to appoint John <br />Polk, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the <br />Human Services Advisory Board. The Council had no nominations and this <br />will be rescheduled. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of three appointments to <br />the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Mayhew moved to reappoint Linda <br />Kelsey Jones (Arts Community) and reappoint Rob Robinson (Downtown Assn.), <br />which passed unanimously. The remaining appointment from the San Marcos <br />Area Chamber of Commerce will be rescheduled. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of eight appointments to <br />the Economic Development Council. The Council will draw lots later in the <br />meeting and make the appointments at the next meeting. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the <br />San Marcos Industrial Development Corporation. The Council had no <br />nominations and this will be rescheduled. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the <br />Main Street Advisory Board.
