Councilmember Jones reported that he had contacted several colleagues to discuss this. <br />He also recommended a workshop that would allow a "corridor coalition" an opportunity <br />to discuss this. He worked everything north of New Braunfels, and a colleague is <br />working everything south of New Braunfels. <br />John Cooper, MetroNet IQ, said that was an interesting approach. He is presently <br />working with Orange County on a regional proposal. He feels this would provide some <br />efficiency in procurement. One challenge is that we are far along in the process, and <br />there may be some legal issues. However, this could be added into the negotiations; <br />other cities could become a party to the agreement through interlocal agreements. A lot <br />of residential users would be very attractive to a provider. <br />30. Development Incentive Request — Project Clean <br />The Executive Session adjourned at 9:32 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. <br />Reconvene and Consider Action on Item Discussed During Executive Session. <br />The San Marcos City Council reconvened into regular session at 9:32 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />February 19, 2008. No action was required from Executive Session. <br />31. Adjournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted <br />seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular session of the San Marcos City <br />Council at 9:34 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.
