Accordingly, the City will <br />utilize a portion of these Planning funds to offset the costs incurred to develop the proposed programs <br />and activities through which the Funding will be administered. <br />C. Of these, a disproportionately high number of the homes were <br />located within or immediately adjacent to the flood affected neighborhoods, and, as a result, the City <br />anticipates most of the applicants for these Housing programs will come from those locations. The City <br />intends to make the funds available to those in the City who meet the criteria identified in Section <br />VIII.C.3 of this document. The City intends to allocate $7,524,000 of its CDBG-DR funds to the following <br />Housing activities and does not anticipate funding more than approximately 100 single-family owner - <br />occupied homes and 100 Public Housing Authority Units: <br />• Single -Family, Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation, Reconstruction (for homes incurring damage <br />that amounts to greater than 50% of the home's pre -storm value the home will be elevated as <br />required), Reconstruction on City Owned Property <br />• Single -Family, 1-4 Unit Rental Housing Substantial Rehabilitation or Reconstruction for which <br />Elevation will be required - (Amendment #8) <br />• Elevation w/ Minor Repair, <br />• Reimbursement for flood -related costs to the San Marcos Public Housing Authority (SMPHA) <br />• Single Family Owner Occupied Housing Reimbursement Activity <br />The breakout of funds between owner occupied, rental, and the SMPHA is as follows and was based on <br />the outstanding proportion of owner occupied and rental units that received substantial damage from <br />the flooding (excluding manufactured housing units): <br />A graphical depiction of the affect the flooding had on the owner occupied and rental populations can <br />be found in Appendix K, Maps 3 and 4.
