91 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />December 20, 1982 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Mrs. Mendez moved for approval of the Ordinance on second reading <br />and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br />29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING LOT NO. TWELVE (12) IN <br />COERS SECOND ADDITION, A/K/A 153 COERS STREET, FROM <br />"R-i" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) TO "D" (MULTI- <br />FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT). <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved to approve the Ordinance on second reading and Mrs. <br />Mendez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of an Ordin- <br />ance on third and final ~reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS <br />OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF 0.12 <br />ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMEN- <br />DI LEAGUE NO. 1 IN SAID CITY TO DON RAINS; AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO DON RAINS; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved for the adoption of the Ordinance on third and final <br />reading and Mr. Fart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- <br />tion, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, NOMINATING A CANDIDATE TO FILL A VA- <br />CANCY ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY <br />CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EFFECT- <br />IVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for the adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Brown second- <br />ed the motion. Two names had been submitted prior to the meeting for <br />the Council's consideration: Robert L. Cavazos and Ruben Ruiz, Sr. <br />On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />CAVAZOS: Mendez. <br /> <br />RUIZ: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Moore. <br /> <br />Mr. Ruiz will be the Council's nomination, and Part 1 and Part 2 of <br />the Resolution will reflect his nomination. The Council then voted <br />unanimously in favor of the adoption of this Resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- <br />tion approving the terms and conditions of a Letter Agreement with <br />Kenneth G. Kaiser for appraisal services regarding the proposed acqui- <br />sition of land and an interest in land in the vicinity of the Municipal <br />Airport. Mr. Brown moved the matter be removed from the table and Mr. <br />Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The matter had <br />been tabled at the December 13, 1982 meeting to the December 20 meeting <br />in order to contact two additional appraisers in San Antonio, Texas. <br />The appraisers have not yet been in contact with the City, so Mr. Moore <br /> <br /> <br />
