MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember • <br />Porterfield, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Ordinance 2009- <br />63, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />16. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against an amendment to the official <br />zoning map of the City by rezoning 0.74 acres, more or less, of land area in the J.M. <br />Veramendi Survey No. 2, located at 1650 River Road, from "GC" General Commercial <br />District to "MF-18" Multiple-Family Residential District; and including procedural <br />provisions; and consider adoption of Zoning Ordinance 2009-64. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 4:02 p.m. <br />There being no Public Comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 4:02 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Bose and a second by Councilmember <br />Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Zoning Ordinance <br />2009-64, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />NON-CONSENT AGENDA <br />17. Consider appointments to the Branding Task Force. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember • <br />Jones, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Thomaides <br />having left early, to approve the recommended slate as amended to rotate the Councilmembers <br />into the task force and to add Kelly Franks. The motion carried unanimously. <br />18. Consider appointments to National League of Cities committees. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember <br />Terry, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Thomaides <br />having left early, to nominate those Councilmembers currently serving to their same committees <br />and to also nominate Councilmember Terry to the Community and Economic Development <br />steering committee and Councilmember Porterfield to the Human Development steering <br />committee. The motion carried unanimously. <br />19. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2009-60, adopted on October 20, 2009, amending the <br />future land use map from "LDR" Low Density Residential to "MDR" Medium Density <br />Residential for a 0.3372 acre, more or less, tract of land located at 1022 Alamo Street; <br />amending the official zoning map of the City by rezoning this tract from "SF-6" Single <br />Family Residential district to "SF-4.5" Single Family Residential district; and including <br />procedural provisions. <br />There was no reconsideration of Ordinance 2009-60. <br />E <br />RM110209 Minutes Page 4
