MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember • Porterfield, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Ordinance 2009- 63, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. 16. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against an amendment to the official zoning map of the City by rezoning 0.74 acres, more or less, of land area in the J.M. Veramendi Survey No. 2, located at 1650 River Road, from "GC" General Commercial District to "MF-18" Multiple-Family Residential District; and including procedural provisions; and consider adoption of Zoning Ordinance 2009-64. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 4:02 p.m. There being no Public Comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 4:02 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Bose and a second by Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Zoning Ordinance 2009-64, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. NON-CONSENT AGENDA 17. Consider appointments to the Branding Task Force. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember • Jones, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Thomaides having left early, to approve the recommended slate as amended to rotate the Councilmembers into the task force and to add Kelly Franks. The motion carried unanimously. 18. Consider appointments to National League of Cities committees. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember Terry, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Thomaides having left early, to nominate those Councilmembers currently serving to their same committees and to also nominate Councilmember Terry to the Community and Economic Development steering committee and Councilmember Porterfield to the Human Development steering committee. The motion carried unanimously. 19. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2009-60, adopted on October 20, 2009, amending the future land use map from "LDR" Low Density Residential to "MDR" Medium Density Residential for a 0.3372 acre, more or less, tract of land located at 1022 Alamo Street; amending the official zoning map of the City by rezoning this tract from "SF-6" Single Family Residential district to "SF-4.5" Single Family Residential district; and including procedural provisions.
