<br />The five members who will serve on the Parks and Recreation Board
<br />are: Nina pryatel, Humberto Serna, Guadalupe Vasquez, Abel CrUz
<br />and Dr. William Pool.

<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointments
<br />to the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Mrs. Norris moved that the
<br />three nominations submitted prior to the meeting, Gloria Salazar,
<br />Manual Rosales and Len Fielder, be appointed to the Senior Citizens
<br />Advisory Board and Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion, which passed
<br />unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the appointment to fill
<br />the vacancy of Clara Storey to the Library Board. Mayor Craddock
<br />moved that Dr. Ralph Houston be appointed and Mr. James seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance
<br />on emergency, the caption which was read as follows:
<br />
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS
<br />OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF LOTS
<br />NINE (9) AND TEN (10) OF BLOCK THIRTY-THREE (33) IN
<br />VICTORY GARDENS SECTION TWO (2) IN SAID CITY TO DANIEL
<br />AGUILAR, SR.; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WAR-
<br />RANTY DEED TO DANIEL AGUILAR, SR. AND DECLARING AN
<br />EMERGENCY.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Norris moved the Ordinance be adopted and Mr. James seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously.
