Regular Meeting July 26, 1982 Page 2 Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval on an appoint- ment to complete an unexpired term on the Parks and Recreation Board. Mr. Brown moved the names of Mrs. Ann Cauthorn and Ollie Giles, sub- mitted to the City Secretary prior to the meeting, be placed in nomina- tion and Mrs. Mendez seconded the motion, which passed unanimoulsy. On roll call the following vote was recorded: BROWN: Giles. FARR: Giles. KRECZMER: Giles. CRADDOCK: Cauthorn. MENDEZ: Cauthorn. MOORE: Cauthorn. NORRIS: Cauthorn. Mrs. Ann Cauthorn was appointed to complete the unexpired term on the Parks and Recreation Board. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of an Ordin- ance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE GRANT OF AN ELECTRIC LINE EASEMENT AND RIGHT- OF-WAY TO THE LO%~R COLOP~DO RIVER AUTHORITY FOR ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION AND/OR DISTRIBUTION LINES AND ALL NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE APPURTENANCES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID ELECTRIC LINE EASEMENT AND RIGHT-OF-WAY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mrs. Norris moved for the adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of an Ordin- ance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF A PART OF LOT NO. FOUR (4) IN BLOCK NO. NINE (9) OF THE D. S. COMBS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO THE ANTIOCH CHURCH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO THE ANTIOCH CHURCH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BREEDING ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, TO THE GREATER BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH, OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO THE GREATER BETHEL BAP- TIST CHURCH OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
