Bidding; Services <br /> The design team will provide assistance during the bidding phase of the <br /> City of San Marcos Cemetery Expansion Improvements by answering <br /> technical questions from contractors and conducting a pre-bid meeting <br /> with the City and potential contractors. Bid packets consisting of project <br /> specifications and plans and bid form formatting, utilizing front-end <br /> documents preferred by the City of San Marcos will be prepared and <br /> issued. <br /> Attend and assist the City with a pre-bid conference (1 meeting). <br /> The design team will tabulate contractor bids in a spreadsheet format for <br /> City review and assist the City with bid opening, review/evaluate bids <br /> including alternates (1 meeting). <br /> H. Construction Phase Services <br /> The design team will participate in a preconstruction conference prior to <br /> commencement of Work at the Site and provide assistance during the <br /> construction phase by reviewing contractor shop drawings when <br /> appropriate, visiting the project site at appropriate intervals to observe the <br /> progress and quality of the Work completed by the Contractor.
