- Upgrade and improvements to pedestrian access, including bus stops and proposed <br /> Transit Plaza <br /> - Upgrade technology, including real-time bus arrival and paratransit mobile app <br /> - Expand marketing <br /> - Upgrade and"right size" transit fleet <br /> - Design and construct Operations Maintenance Facility and Transit Center <br /> - Expand current staff <br /> - Eliminate on-board fare collection <br /> - Fund paratransit operations <br /> 2.03. Initial Funding Split. The Parties agree that the Formula Grant Funds will be <br /> allocated between the Parties as set forth in Exhibit B,a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br /> a part hereof for all purposes. The allocation of funds in Exhibit B is a conditional commitment <br /> from the City, subject to FTA approval, City's receipt of Federal Funding, and Texas State's <br /> satisfying the requirements to be a sub-recipient under the FTA's annual Certifications & <br /> Assurances. <br /> 2.04. Future Projects. The Parties acknowledge that the City, as the Direct Recipient, <br /> is likely to be eligible to receive FTA funding beyond the funds conditionally committed by this <br /> Agreement. Texas State may request funding for new projects, all of which, if approved, shall be <br /> subject to the protocols outlined in this Agreement. Available future FTA funding will be <br /> negotiated by the Parties in good faith with the understanding the Transit Master Plan or future <br /> Transit Master Plan recommendations will guide the negotiations. Final approval of future <br /> negotiations will be through City Council. <br /> 2.05. Coordination. For each individual project and for any New Projects, Texas State <br /> shall make a separate written request for funding to the City.The City may determine the requisites <br /> for the form and contents of each such request as is necessary for the City to:a)evaluate the request <br /> for eligibility to receive Federal Grant Funds; and b)make a staff recommendation for approval of <br /> the request to the City Council. The Parties agree to cooperate in good faith regarding the <br />
